Комедийный дуэт, считается одним из лучших в истории американского водевиля [vaudeville]. Состоял из Дж. Вебера [Weber, Joseph (Joe)] (1867-1942) и Л. Филдса [Fields, Lew] (1867-1941) (настоящее имя Льюис Морис Скэнфилд [Schanfield, Lewis Maurice]). Актеры разыгрывали сценки, имитируя различные диалекты и акценты и используя элементы акробатики, характерные для жанра комедии потасовок [slapstick comedy]. Выросли в г. Нью-Йорке, выступали вместе с 10-летнего возраста, снялись в нескольких немых фильмах. В 1885 создали собственную фирму, а в 1895 театр "Бродвейский мюзик-холл" [Broadway Music Hall]. Особенно популярны были на рубеже столетий, стали примером для многих других популярных дуэтов.
